Hello!

My name is Imari Medeiros (she/her), I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 10 years and feel honored to be in my current role as a psychotherapist.

I am a cisgender Afro-Latina, born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. I attended Simmons University School of Social Work, where I earned my Master of Social Work, and prior to this, obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Bridgewater State University. My experience working in many levels of care with different age groups, cultures, and communities has provided a wide range of skills, which have allowed me to support many clients of all backgrounds.

My person-centered approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationships that feel honest, supportive, and collaborative. You will be met exactly where you are, with respect for your pace, experiences, and perspective. Together, we will create space for you to feel seen, heard, and validated, while also gently exploring patterns that may no longer be serving you. Through a balance of empathy and thoughtful insight, you can expect support that fosters clarity, self-understanding, and meaningful, lasting change.
